Combo Breakfast Skillet – Bánh Mì Chảo

Even though having a bowl of noodle soup is more preferred for breakfast in Vietnam, we do have our own version of egg and bread for breakfast. Banh Mi Chao is a combo of eggs, pate, fries,
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp garlic, shallot, chilli minced
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp siracha
1 tbsp fish sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp chicken stock
2 eggs
sausage cut 3-inch length
1/2 onion cut into slices
potato cut into sticks
2-3 slice ham
herbs, tomato, cucumber

  1. I would not put the fried sausage in my pan because the sausage in vietnam is very bad. Moreover, that pan has too much oil, you will not want to fill your body with ton of fat. I wonder how they make the pate in vietnam, if it’s made from animal liver I would not eat it beacuse liver is where the body stores excess fat which is terrible to our health.

  2. السلام عليكم ارجو ان يترجم كلامك من اجل المتعه وشكرآ لكي ✌✌

  3. I think it's a little too much oil Helen…
When I make this dish I usually use only a tsp of oil or just a little bit of butter to make the flavor richer

  4. It looks good but very westernized. Did you mean to add that much oil or did too much fall into the pan and you just went with it?

  5. Looks amazing. But the link to the 'Print Recipe' does not work. Could we have a link to the pate recipe too please?
