So I take that it would be safe to put a 16 core on my b450m pro4 if I water cool the VRM's

I plan on getting the 3900 or the 3950 an pair it with my Asrock x370 taichi, then compare it to my 5960x system, I'd love to move to AMD if performance is there!

So the Asrock B450 Pro 4 version should be good for a overclocked 2700?

The 3800x is currently the original price of the 3700x at launch. Would the temps be similar to the 3700x in your testing?

Feels great to know that in a few years when my 1600 is too slow I can literally just throw in a 12 core and not have to worry about it.
Thanks AMD
And thank you HU for this video 🙂

I have ASRock B350 ITX with Ryzen 1700, is it a good idea to change to Ryzen 3700x when it drops price when Ryzen 4000 series launch?

I have a msi bazooka b350m motherboard and I’m upgrading to a ryzen 9 3900x pretty soon. Will temps be roughly the same? I’m not going to overclock unless needed but I have a asus rog strix 1080 so I don’t think I’d need too (upgrading to a 2080 super soon also)

It's kind of cool to still be able to throw in a 3950 if it were ever necessary to upgrad emy 3700x ;p I think I'll need a new CPU + mobo from a newer generation by the time this thing isn't doing it for me anymore though.

How do you get a 3900x a 105W TDP CPU to use more than 160W of power? Your benchmark listed it used 201W and 224W at 8:50 or by system consumption are you referring to the computer as a whole or the motherboard, memory, storage, cooler power consumption? I am shopping for a 600W SFX or FLEX PSU and well, your videos make me worried I am reading spec sheets wrong

I guess I dont need to upgrade my MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon. Because I installed an custom loop, the replace is stressful.

thanks a lot for that helpful video but I need help here , any one can help me decide which M.B. to buy for Ryzen 3900x CPU , the x470 and b450 looks so good for the price of 150-180 $ , on the other hand the entry level of x570 looks like very cheep M.B and i afraid if I get x470 i will lose some VRM features , what is your advise to me to get the best board withe reasonable price without losing any of cpu power?
